I haven't been following this child's disappearance as much as I would have liked to.  So I was wondering why it took a month for this mother to report her child missing?  Anyone know?

Nancy,

The media has been all over this case. The gym I work out at, one of the T.V.'s seems to have this story on every time I visit.

There are so many conflicting reports. This young mom lived with her parents. To them, everytime they asked she made up a place where the child was. But then, she admitted she didn't know. Or so THEY say. But she says she left the child with a sitter who disappeared with her.
I think either she killed her or she knows who did. Perhaps a drug deal gone bad. Who knows.
She is back in jail for stealing a friends checks and cashing them.... so she is clearly an UPSTANDING citizen. I have no love for her.

I don't have any either.  I missed something along the way, when they arrested her for the check deal, some reporter said it took her a month to report her child missing.  I missed that when I was originally listening to the story, so I wondered if she ever explained why it took so long.

She knows where her daughter is, there is no doubt in my mind.  I can't believe her parents never thought anything of their grandchild missing either...none of it makes sense.

From what I've read, she supposedly didn't report her missing for so long because she was afraid of getting police involved, as that usually ends up with the child being killed, according to her. I think it's a bunch of bull. If my child was missing, it would take me no longer than 5 minutes to contact police! I would take all the help I can get. This story makes me so angry.

 gotanksAudrey

I knew I missed something, as some of it didn't make much sense.  Now it does.

The whole thing is unreal. I hope for the sake of the child the truth comes out.

I just read where she was released from jail again.  Her parents posted bail and some bond company.  Is she going to keep getting off...she knows what happened to that little girl!

Yeah, the little girl is still missing!  And she goes about her merry way!  They found human decomp, choloroform residue, and other evidence in her trunk, but can't pin anything on her.  She never left the little girl where she said she did.  I think the whole investigation has been messed up from the beginning.  This make me so mad! arguing
