I'm so pissed @ the Acer Computer Company. I have an Acer laptop that i purchased in February, a month after the purchase it started doing crazy things like cutting off, skipping as i typed, always having to use the cord not the battery by itself... I called customer service 2day and they told me that i could send the laptop in or take out the hard drive and send that in, HELLO i'm no damn technician!!!!!!!!!! I'm pissed b/c i use the laptop 4 my school work. My GPA has dropped some due 2 the technical difficulities i have with the laptop. i knew i should have followed my 1st instinct and bought the Dell. All i really want is 4 them 2 replace it they can't even do that, when i asked to speak 2 a supervisor all the representative said was " we can't transfer calls b/c they can only tell u the same thing i am." OMG hard as times are 4 me right now i can't afford a new 1, so i guess i'm gonna have 2 tough it out. If u guys only knew my life and how hard things are.......

Did you pay with cash, credit card, or take out a loan?

If it is the last two you have recourse by going to the companies and asking them what you should do.  Usually most companies have a policy in place to handle this type of problem.  If you paid cash, go to your state government, most of them have hot line for this type of problem.

It sounds like they offered to fix the computer, they just needed you to send it in?

I get so frustrated in situations similar to that.  I hate it so bad.  I hope that you've gotten a solution to the problem by now Smiley
