Okay Moms...here's a good one for you...
We are currently pregnant with baby #2 (a girl) and due in June.
Hubs and I are struggling to agree on a name for this precious princess so I wanted to get some ideas of names that other people like that I can possibly bring to my husband since all the other names that I liked he doesn't!

I am getting nervous that this baby is going to be born and still won't have a name!
I am looking for somethign that is not too common/popular, but am (at this point) going to keep an open mind to anything!

Thanks mommas, I am desperate... please

Have you visted any of the gazillion online baby naming groups/forums? I was there EVERY DAY when trying to name baby #3. We still went into the delivery room without a 100% definite name!

Perhaps if you tell us a little more about your style? What is your first childs name? Do you like trendy, traditional, old fashioned, popular?
Unique or traditional spelling? Unisex names yes or no? Like Randy, Jamie, Ryan, etc.
How about place names? Like Cheyenne? Georgia? Sierra?

Are there any family names or traditions that you'd like to carry on? Any loved ones you'd like to honor with a name?

I really should have started a baby naming blog instead of a mom blog. I could do this all day. Hey, maybe I will. Thanks for the inspiration. LOL!

Also, I have actually blogged about baby names a few times now that i think about it... check it out... people's comments might be helpful too

Ohhh...you are good!
The problem is that my husband and I are are totally on different pages when it comes to naming this child.

Our first is a boy, Kaiden.  I loved this name and he did too, so it was not a hard decision when naming him.
This one will be a girl.  I like names that are less common.  I.E.  Evelyn, Amelia, Karlyn, Claire/Clara, Madelyn (although I think that one is creeping up to become very popular) Camille...etc.  I think I am more of an old fashioned type.

My husband, on the other hand, loves the names Addison, Madison, Abigail, Taylor....more trendy popular names.
It's not that I don't like those names (in fact I think they are all very pretty-so no offense to those who have kiddos named that), but my problem is that I hear them all the time.  I think I know of 6 Addisons from friends kids, kids that go to our story time, etc.  Once we dropped Kaiden off at church day care and there were literally 3 Addison's in the group of only like 10 kids!

He likes "Grace" as a middle name.  Again, I love it, but I have heard that used as a middle name 4 times in the past 2 weeks.  We don't really have a "family name" that we are hoping to use except I would consider Leigh (my middle name) or Louise (my mom's middle name).

Thanks for your help!
I will check out your blog posts for inspiration.  Until then, I am going to keep hitting up the internet sites.

Yesterday I was looking on a site that does baby announcements.  I got some ideas from there.  But I will try the forums.

Thanks!  thanks

BTW....I am a former Philadelphian (I think you are from that area?).  Well, I'm from Valley Forge area.  My parents still live there and we are thinking of moving back because we are a growing family and I am going to need grandma and grandpa's help!

You are doing great! My husband and I decided on his name the moment both laid eyes on him after birth.
We knew he was a Connor.  We always had the middle name just not the first.  I think is hard to give a name
because for us we knew it would be something he would have for the rest of this life! Good luck!

My husband and I never did pick a girls name for our third. If he'd had been a girl, we would have been screwed. Luckily we had ONE boys name that we could agree on. LOL
