Here's a strange one.........

Everyday, between 3 and 4 PM is nap time over here and my usual time to blog, read, play, whatever on the ole PC.
Everyday, between 3 and 4 PM my face (just my chubber cheeks) get RED HOT!  Hot to the touch, red to the eyes, and burnin' on the inside!  I'm not kidding.
I don't eat candy everyday, but I usually eat some sort of sugar after lunch--sometimes over-indulging I admit, but what in the world do you suppose is wrong with my face?Huh???

I used to think it was just a hot flash when I was ovulating, because that has been happening at night when I ovulate, but I have had this day time hotty pop up everyday for almost a week and a half!

I wonder if I'm pregnant? No, that's just wishful thinking.  It's too soon to tell for that one.

What do you guys think?  Something cool I hope--please don't give a rare disease or anything scary--my financial situation is all the fear I can handle right now.

Just feeling extra chatty today!

I sometimes get that when I'm *really* focused on something... in the zone, like.

Maybe it's the bloodflow to your brain going yaya with all that creative expression...

then I thought maybe the medication for weight loss I am on--nope that's not a side effect....

now my doc thinks anxiety. Oh goody.  i see panic attacks in my near future.  how fun for me.  my hubby better bring a paycheck home soon, or I could end up committed!!!!

That is so weird, yaya.

I have ended up with anxiety after 3 months of living on credit cards last year.

Once hubby found a job, I had a relapse with my CFS and this year started having anxiety attacks. I'm on a mild dose of antidepressants for it at the moment.

I've been on welbutrin before.  I guess that beats the attacks right?  I should get to it, but I seriously have no money to buy it and the insurance won't cover it.
Talk about white knuckling it.  Sugar seems to help, and bike riding too.  Yelling and screaming at my husband doesn't seem to do much except alienate each other.

yeah, such a happy house right now.  Poor guy.  He's so down about his company.  When is he going to snap out of it?Huh?Huh???

Question Jane, what is CFS?

Wow, you won't believe this, because you can tell I'm really a freaky stalker, but our problems last year were because hubby's business went sppppbtth!

Embarrassed   It was not a happy time in our household or[\i] our marriage.

But on the up side, we celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary (and 11yrs together) last month, and having made it through 2007 together we are sooo much stronger and accepting of each other.

So keep positive, and it will get better Smiley

And CFS = Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, here's my jumbled take on it ~ http://kidzarama.com/cfs-symptoms-summary/

I wish that I had the perfect words to say to both of you right now...I have been there thats for sure.

Maybe YayaM, you need to take some time and watch The Secret again...it prob won't help those "hot flashes" unless it is anxiety, then it might help.

And Jane, I don't know if you have The Secret (if you don't, here is a 20 minute excerpt from it http://youtube.com/watch?v=_b1GKGWJbE8 ) ...but maybe you aren't into that sort of thing....?

I not being much help..sorry.

Thanks Shaz, but there's really not anything to feel bad about.

We went through some stuff, that's all. And now we're better off.

The good news financially is that hubby got a fantastic job *because* of his experiences.  jumping

I've heard of "the secret" and no, I'm not into that sort of thing. But thanks anyway Wink

Shaz I am totally into it~ and will be watching it again shortly.  I really do think this is all anxiety related.  Is it any wonder why I have been connecting to Sophie much in the last few weeks.  UGH!
Oh, and I LOVE your blog--I'm spending time there today.

As for the job junk, Thanks Jane for your encouragement.  While I'm not happy you had to go through all of that, I am glad that it all worked out and made you guys stronger--gives me a little hope that  maybe I don't have to go out and find a new place to live/ job/ daycare.  The fighting is oh --so--bad.
OH, and also thanks for clarifying the CFS.  I'm so sorry you have to go through all of that--and since you were 16? holy cow.
I like slippers! and I really like your blog!  Will be spending time there today as well!

You can have hot flashes for many different reasons usually it is becasue of some kind of hormonal changes any of the above things can do it, anxiety, ovualtion and just plain stress.
As for someone who has been married 28 years and has been thru it all do not let your fiancial situation get in the middle of your marriage.
I survived not having money when I had only 3 kids and I new all the free things to do in the city. We were out all the time and never spending money. When I was done with school and went back to work for the 1st year all my money went to paying off bills. It was worth it I just want to say how important it is not to argue about the kids and money there is not too much you can do about either.
So now I have 5 kids and everyone has everything they need.
Hang in there and take it one day at a time.

The same thing happens to me.   Except the tops of my ears get red too.  And sometimes my neck and chest get all red and blotchy and hot to the touch too.  For me, I think it's anxiety related too.

Okay, I'm only sharing this because you are all my new bestest ever friends and I know you'll never repeat this...    Tongue

I used to get teased really badly in the first year of high school (almost 25 years ago  scared ) for blushing.

No, wait, that's not the secret yet. Don't change the channel.

They used to call me beetroot.  Cry
That's how red and blotchy I used to get with their teasing.  Thank goodness it's not that bad now

~Now, don't tell a soul, okay?  Shhhh....

I won't tell!

I'm still like that.  I blush very easily.  I've never been picked on for it, but I sure do hate it.
