And that's not all...a lot of them got pregnant by a homeless guy!!! Hello? This is unbelievable! Someone needs to slap those girls with the reality stick. Motherhood should not be taken lightly! Any thoughts?

After I pick my chin up off of the floor I might be able to come back with some thoughts.

Is there a link to a news item for this?

It sounds insane!

oh, you are talking about that pregnancy pact that got 17 high school girls pregnant? the pregnancny clinic in their town got suspicious whenh a bunch of girls kept coming in on their own and getting upset when they were NOT pregnant.
from what i remember, the girls used guys ages 16 to their 20's. including the homeless guy.
they all wanted to have their babies together.
idiots.

Yes, it was a pact. Is that not insane? How can 17 girls all be on the same page and not a one of them have the common sense to say, "Uhhh...this is sooo not a good idea," then tell someone what was happening? Baffling!

I just can't believe the stupidity!

It reminds me of a Clive Barker book "The Great & Secret Show", only it was 4 girls and they were kind of possessed.

Probably not the case here.

Motherhood should not be taken lightly.  It is hard work and not anything like playing house.  To many girls think it is all peaches and cream.  I am not saying being a mom is horrible because I will the first to stand up and say it is the most rewarding job.  But teenagers need to be teenagers first and worrry about all the rest of "adult" stuff later.  It is sad but I think of all the babies involved and how many could be aborted.  Especially when their are so many couples out there that cannot have baby.
