when do you blog?

I am new to all this and I am having trouble balancing my life with blogging! I spend A LOT of time trying to figure it all out - there is SOOOO much to learn about...  My husband and children are probably wondering what my obsession is about...

So... When do you blog? At night? All day?

I try to make one post a day. Over the weekend, sometimes I'll only post on Sat or Sunday. Typepad has a publish date feature, so I can always write a post and have it actually post on a later date.

I try to post a couple of times a week. My "free time" is usually early morning or late night, so that's when I blog.

ha! i have it figured out and i blog too much! i blog (and work) at night after the baby is in bed. so normally i work (and blog) from 10:30 until 3 a.m. this usually means one post every other day on my two blogs.

I usually work from 12AM-3AM.  It's difficult to maintain a balance but it's important.

During weekdays, no more than an hour a day, crammed in somewhere (that's the target, anyway). Weekends, up to six hours a day, hopefully producing a decent set of spare posts... Wait, but that's just actually churning out the content. Doesn't include visiting blogs, checking out the latest widgets, commenting, et cetera

Since it has been summer, I haven't had a routine.  I have been blogging whenever.  That's going to have to change, though, when my youngest starts back to school.  I'll probably plan to do household chores the first couple of hours after I drop him off and then a couple of hours on the blog/networking/etc.

Yeah, I am a new blogger and, I too, have found it "consuming" me!  I am addicted.  I want to know everything there is out there and get caught up in reading everyone's blog!
I usually find time when the little man is down for a nap in the afternoons.  Sometimes I will start writing a post and keep coming back to it to finish it and not post it till days later when I finally finish. 
It's hard, though....I have to find a routine time along with a routine day/time for my housework!
